No-Dig and Low-Dig Techniques
Because sewer lines are buried beneath your foundation and your yard, digging them up for repair can be quite disruptive. It can also be costly, not so much due to the plumbing bill but due to the costs of repairing damage to lawns, gardens, pavement, and slabs afterwards. At P.H.VAC, we strive to offer every customer an effective and minimally disruptive sewer line repair to solve problems in the most cost-effective manner possible. We offer three no-dig or low-dig options.
Traditional Sewer Line Replacement: This method of sewer repair does require digging up the pipe. But, thanks to our highly effective leak detection techniques, we can minimize this digging by replacing only the sections of pipe that are actually damaged, rather than the entire pipe.
Pipe Bursting: This method of trenchless sewer repair requires just two small access points to be created. Then, we run a new pipe through the existing cast iron, terra cotta, TVC, or concrete pipe, bursting the old, damaged pipe.
Pipe Relining: This technique offers the ability to create a new, seamless, and highly durable pipe within the shell of your old pipe. Only one access point is required, and we can often use the main sewer cleanout access so absolutely no digging with be required.
